Ernie Colón

Ernie Colón (July 13, 1931 – August 8, 2019) was an American comics artist. He was known for drawing comic books relating to superheroes, horror and politics. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Colón was best known for his works Arak, Son of Thunder, Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld, Casper the Friendly Ghost, Richie Rich, SpyCat and The 9/11 Report: A Graphic Adaptation.

Colón died August 8, 2019 in Huntington, New York from colorectal cancer at the age of 88.[1]
