I used this topic for some work my teacher set me. It was very helpful, especially in the simple format which is easy to read and understand. Thanks Simple Wiki! --121.91.91.101 (talk) 10:26, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Simplicity

I do not believe this article would be easy for a child or someone who is new to the English language to read. There are a lot of long words used in a small space. I know this page involves using long words but I think that some of these could be avoided or spread out and better explained. Kyle.66 (talk) 14:02, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The metric system

[change source]

SI is not the metric system. It's a metric system. We'd be better off with a separtae Metric system article rather than having it redirect here. Jimp (talk) 02:54, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Would it not b e better to write an article entitled "Metric system" that is aimed at 10-year olds and leave this article for those whose understanding of science is far better than their understanding of English. Martinvl (talk) 21:07, 13 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I've done this. Osiris (talk) 21:32, 13 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have added a hatnote to point this out to readers. A corresponding hatnote will appear in the article Metric system. Martinvl (talk) 08:14, 19 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
