Thomas Burgess (18 November 1756 - 19 February 1837)[1] was an English author, philosopher, Bishop of st Davids[2] and Bishop of Salisbury,[3][4] he founded st David's college, Lampeter was a founding member of Odiham agricultural society,[2][5] and helped to establish the royal veterinary college in London,[5] and was the first president of the Royal society of literature
