Lard Lad Kid of the Year
The Lard Lad Kid of the Year is an award where they appoint the Lard Lad Kid of the Year.
History[edit]
Bart and Lisa competed in the Lard Lad Kid of the Year. The winner would receive a year's supply of donuts and $1,000 in scholarship money. Lisa participated for the money but didn't like the idea of the contest being about writing why you love Lard Lad Donuts. Bart wanted the donuts but didn't like the idea of writing. Lisa decided to participate anyway when she realized she could pretend to like them. Bart also decided to participate and got help from Homer.
Both went to the finals, but when Lisa presented her contribution, she began doubting her own work and started explaining why it was wrong to eat donuts. The audience disliked her contribution, but they loved Bart's performance, where he acted like Homer, leading to his victory. Bart soon discovered that winning the contest was not a good idea after all.
