REBOUND

Smolcks Rebound feels like Depeche Mode hit the afterparty with NIN. Synth sparkle meets emotional punch — radio-ready but still edgy. Favorite track: REBOUND.

Canabinere Sir Vere have this uncanny ability to mash up styles that shouldn’t work together - but they do. Rebound is sleek, IGGY is swagger. Big album incoming, I can feel it Favorite track: REBOUND.

Sasha Photographer I wasn’t sure what to expect but IGGY got me instantly. Feels like indie rock took MDMA and wandered into a Prodigy set. Wild energy, but tight as hell.
Vanya Black

Vanya Black Call me biased but anything that pays proper respect to Iggy Pop and makes me dance like I’m 22 again gets my vote. Kudos to Sir Vere for their style and spirit Favorite track: IGGY.

Kate Kuko Love the production on Rebound, its tight, punchy low end with just enough grit on the mids. The synth layering is straight out of the Ultra-era DM playbook, but it still feels fresh. These guys know their frequencies haha

about

SIR-VERE offer up the first taste of their forthcoming ‘ROCKtronicS album via a new AA-side single ‘Rebound/Iggy’.
Arriving on June 16, hot on the heels of their recent ‘Adore’ single’, the release showcases two more sides to the multi-faceted sound of the genre-fusing Milton Keynes.
‘Rebound’ is a sparkling, synth-driven song with echoes of the juddering industrial-laced pop of Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails, simultaneously packing dancefloor power and big commercial radio appeal.
“‘Rebound’ is about the bounce between one relationship to another,” says frontman and lyric writer Craig White, “but still feeling love.”
It comes backed with the swaggering ‘IGGY’, slanted more towards indie dance with live drums and bass foundations. The track, as you’ve probably already ascertained, is “a spiritual-like homage to the godlike Iggy Pop”.
Both tracks will feature on the band’s next album ‘ROCKtronicS’, set for release on October 10th 2025. The forthcoming LP comes after the success of last year’s ‘Lovescope’ album, initially self-released but subsequently picked up and reissued by Worldsound/Virgin Music Group after the label snapped up the band.
