I attended AfroTech in November. At this event I networked with Black industry professionals who inspired me to keep going and push the boundaries that exist in the technology industry. Because of this conference I have a differnt persective/outlook on how I use my postion in society to help make the tech world better.

Trying the Ojuju typeface by @jobosonchisa in different design styles. Ojuju is a san-serif typeface of an afro-grotesque style, Inspired by the eye cuttings on the masks of African masquerades. It pairs so well with sans serif fonts like day one, poppings, open sans, etc. I prefer it as a large blocky headline instead of a sub-headline or body copy. Keeping legibility in mind and allowing my audience see the beauty in each letter.
