Mr. Josef Müller-Brockmann was a Swiss graphic designer and teacher who believed in socially responsible design. This emphasis on safety and health is clearly demonstrated by his Swiss Automobile Club posters, which were both groundbreaking in their use of photography and dramatic perspectives, and gained him a reputation as a designer.

See more examples at Twenty75.com. Line art is is form of imagery that uses distinct, concentric or parallel lines to create a 3D image. The artwork is usually but not exclusively on a white background with a dark black detail for increased contrast. The technique does not use shading but relies on distance between lines and contouring to create the illusion of depth and light.
