I have spent almost the last decade traveling around Europe photographing some of its most interesting and visually impressive abandoned locations. From rusting industrial remnants in Belgium, abandoned farmhouses in Iceland to crumbling villas and hospitals in northern Italy, they have all stunned me at the sheer beauty of these places left to rot.

I think that when you are creating old abandoned interiors, dust in the air is a key to believable image. These tiny particles, that catch the light, give an enormous boost to the realism of your scene. Software: Blender, Cycles, Photoshop
