When I spotted this dresser in the antique store the first thing I realized was that it was made in Grand Rapids, MI; a town not too far from where I grew up. I remember learning that Grand Rapids has a long history of furniture manufacturing and has been nicknamed, “Furniture City.” So I thought it was super cool that this piece was made in the state I grew up in!
