Drawing inspiration from the mountains, we craft bag display stands in the form of crystals, using space as a canvas to depict the relationship between humanity and nature. Wandering freely among the scattered crystals feels like embarking on a heartfelt journey at the foothills of the Himalayas, where each small stone picked up is a piece of the cosmos held in your hand.

INDIGO is our first home, small yet nestled in a corner, embodying the prototype of our inspiration: stones, ageless in a certain sense of eternity. Therefore, a realm sculpted from limestone cave stones forms a natural, serene, and enduring ambience.

Tidal Moon

Shanghai IFC

Inspired by Song-dynasty painter Ma Yuan’s serene depiction of tides and the hanging moon, Tidal Moon captures the ancient Chinese view of harmony between movement and stillness, fullness and emptiness — the endless rhythm of nature.

A metallic, gradient wave structure flows through the space, naturally dividing it while reflecting soft light. Suspended mirrors catch the shifting silhouettes of visitors. Immersed within, one is embraced by tides — where light and shadow, stillness and motion, coexist and breathe in eternal cycle.

Pine Pavilion

Rock Bund Store

"Listening to the pines" is a mindful interaction between humans and nature, a process of gaining insight through attentive perception. Songmont invites guests to the "Pine Pavilion," where they can find peace within and listen to the sound of the wind through the pines.

In terms of space design, Songmont has crafted a platform and sloping eaves, abstracting the essence of ancient pavilions and integrating their charm into the space. A round mirror is placed within the space, symbolizing self-reflection and personal cultivation. When the mirror is rotated, light gently touches its surface, revealing finely embedded mica sheets with a cracked texture, reminiscent of the passage of time.

Bamboo Valley

Songmont's first southwest store in Chengdu draws inspiration from the bamboo, a plant deeply rooted in the region's culture and landscape. The store's interior design incorporates both the internal and external structures of bamboo through visual textures, creating a distinctive ambiance that is unique to Chengdu.

The use of bamboo elements in the store's design creates a secluded and inviting atmosphere, which aligns with Songmont's brand philosophy of fostering a sense of tranquility, connection with nature and integrating the local cultural context into design.

Pines on Layered Rocks

DEJI PLAZA

Situated along the Qinhuai River in the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, the Nanjing Deji store continues the brand's "mountain" and "pine" themes. The design incorporates red and gray colors extracted from Nanjing's ancient city architecture. Display fixtures made of red cave stones resemble scattered mountain rocks, arranged in vertical layers to simulate undulating mountain terrain.

Finding Path Through the Stone City

The Nanjing MixC store has been newly upgraded, drawing inspiration from the ancient capital’s six-dynasty heritage and its surrounding natural landscape. The design evokes the vivid scene of “Finding Path Through the Stone City” — shaped by the winding, mountain-embracing form of Nanjing’s ancient city walls.

Crossing the Sea to Seek Stones

Drawing cultural inspiration from the mythical Penglai Mountain, Songmont's new Qingdao space, "Crossing the Sea to Seek Stones," embodies the Eastern aesthetic philosophy of "nature and self-awareness." In the agrarian era, the ancients ventured out to sea in search of stones to reach a celestial realm. Lacking a maritime culture, they were filled with awe and curiosity toward the ocean.

The Shenzhen store's design draws inspiration from the city's urban landscape and coastal geography. Wall surfaces mimic the textures of rocks eroded by seawater, while display stands resemble stones washed up on the shore. By eliminating sharp corners, the space creates an immersive environment that transports customers to a natural seaside setting.

Gentle Breeze Among the Pines

Suzhou Cangjie Store

We draw on the classic symbol of Suzhou gardens—the Taihu stone—and abstract its form, enveloping its surface with atomized natural silk, shaped through a specialized spray-molding process. This installation is crafted into a soft, luminous entity, endowing the Taihu stone with a light, translucent texture, achieving a poetic reinterpretation of an ancient natural motif.

Our first store in Chongqing—the mind-bending “cyberpunk city” built upon mountains—opens under the theme “Seeking Incense off a Cliff.”

The dark green ceiling tells the story of Chongqing as a forest, filtering daylight like scattered shadows between trees, softening the heat of this fiery land.

Wind on the Plateau Ridge

"Wind on the Plateau Ridge" is Songmont’s heritage store, nestled in the heart of Taiyuan’s ancient city veins, where the brand’s story first intertwined with the land of Middle China. The counter' design draws inspiration from the landforms of the yuan (plateau) and liang (ridge). Its contours rise and fall like the spine of the Loess Plateau, guiding one’s steps upon layers of ancient earth. Straw-bundle seating and straw-mud coatings extend the warmth of the land—using materials in their original form to embody Songmont’s vision of sustainability in space. Together with the terrain and textures of the land, they form the store’s living fabric.
