South West UK Pre-CHI provides an opportunity for researchers from the South West England and De Cymru Human-Computer Interaction Community (SWEDC-HCI) to come together to practice running their accepted CHI papers and work-in-progress research talks.

We aim to create a space for new research connections and the ability to discuss research in a smaller circle. Due to this being a free event, it will provide an excellent opportunity for all researchers, regardless of experience, to get a taste of the quality of work presented at CHI, and network with peers. Therefore, everyone from students, professors and industry folks in the region interested in HCI will be welcome to attend.
