LCD Smartie displays information on your LCD/VFD. It supports LCDs with a Hitachi HD44780 Controller via parallel port & Matrix Orbital and Crystalfontz serial/USB LCD/VFDs. Info includes: CPU temps, fan speed, the BBC World News, Stocks indexes etc.

gtop is a tool that helps you monitor your systems through a dashboard user interface, and it is optimized to monitor and visualize terminals. gtop requirements are to have Node.js version 8 or higher. It supports Linux, OSX, and Windows (with partial support). You need to assign host net and pid to access the metrics in the host machine. Start gtop with the gtop command. To stop gtop use q, or ctrl+c in most shell environments. You can sort the process table by pressing 'p' for Process Id, 'c' for CPU usage, and 'm' for Memory usage. If you see question marks or other different characters, try to run it with the environment variables provided in the documentation. gtop is released under the MIT license.

tcp2com creates a bridge between a TCP socket and a serial port (COM). The program runs as a service under Windows NT. With tcp2com, you can telnet into any device you may have plugged into your COM port.

I'm a HW Support and used cacti, zabbix, but they are too "strong", sometimes I just want to know server "worked fine", and show me a basicly load-average chart, that's enough. And the other hand, I need run command (like: "top", "iostat", "date" etc.) remotely and show it out to the webpage. The hwmonitor(writen in C) is a simple daemon, you can define some command-name(like: show_top= top -b -n1), telnet to this daemon and input your def-command(like: show_top), hwmonitor will return the info. And hwclient(include in this project, writen in C) connect to hwmonitor, input a define command-name to get server load-average and IO-idle each 60 seconds(you can change it) into a text file. hwgraphic (include in this project, writen in PHP) read the text file(generated by hwclient) and show the load-average chart and IO-idle chart.

This is a cross platform tool to monitor traffic between two TCP endpoints. Allows to send users data to each endpoint, make data snapshots,manage multiple clients connections. Consists from forwarding server and client as stand along parts.
