    WiFiManager

    WiFiManager

WiFi Connection manager with web captive portal

Espressif ESPx WiFi Connection manager with fallback web configuration portal. The configuration portal is of the captive variety, so on various devices it will present the configuration dialogue as soon as you connect to the created access point. When your ESP starts up, it sets it up in Station mode and tries to connect to a previously saved Access Point. If this is unsuccessful (or no previous network saved) it moves the ESP into Access Point mode and spins up a DNS and WebServer (default ip 192.168.4.1). Using any wifi enabled device with a browser (computer, phone, tablet) connect to the newly created Access Point. Because of the Captive Portal and the DNS server you will either get a 'Join to network' type of popup or get any domain you try to access redirected to the configuration portal. ESP will try to connect. If successful, it relinquishes control back to your app. If not, reconnect to AP and reconfigure.

    PeerGuardian

PeerGuardian - a privacy oriented firewall application

PeerGuardian is a privacy oriented firewall application. It blocks connections to and from hosts specified in huge blocklists (thousands or millions of IP ranges). Its origin seeds in targeting aggressive IPs while you use P2P. PeerGuardian Linux: Not developed actively anymore. Team might still be around. Some unreleased changes on git. Outdated technology. Peerguardian OS X: Not developed anymore. We've lost contact with the OS X developer. PeerGuardian Windows: Not developed anymore. It's highly recommended to use PeerBlock instead, which is a continuation of PeerGuardian's development in Windows, with bug fixes and support for Windows Vista and Windows 7. Collaboration with peerblock.com is welcome! PeerGuardian is an open project. Not only is its source code open for you to read, use, and modify - but the project is open for you to join and contribute in any form (code, documentation, bug reports, web and support).

    Synapse

    Synapse

    Matrix reference homeserver

Matrix is an ambitious new ecosystem for open federated Instant Messaging and VoIP. Everything in Matrix happens in a room. Rooms are distributed and do not exist on any single server. Rooms can be located using convenience aliases like #matrix:matrix.org or #test:localhost:8448. Synapse is currently in rapid development, but as of version 0.5 we believe it is sufficiently stable to be run as an internet-facing service for real usage! Create and manage fully distributed chat rooms with no single points of control or failure. Eventually-consistent cryptographically secure synchronization of room state across a global open network of federated servers and services. Send and receive extensible messages in a room with (optional) end-to-end encryption. Use 3rd Party IDs (3PIDs) such as email addresses, phone numbers, Facebook accounts to authenticate, identify and discover users on Matrix.

    TCNOpen

    Components for IEC61375 standardised communication

TCNOpen is an open source initiative which the partner railway industries created with the aim to build in collaboration some key parts of new or upcoming railway standards, commonly known under the name TCN. TCN (Train Communication Network) is a series of international standards (IEC61375) developed by Working Group 43 of the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), specifying a communication system for the data communication within and between vehicles of a train. It is currently in use on many thousands of trains in the world in order to allow electronic devices to exchange information while operating aboard the same train. TCNOpen follows the Open Source scheme, as the software is jointly developed by participating companies, according to their role, so as to achieve cheaper, quicker and better quality results.
