LosslessCut aims to be the ultimate cross platform FFmpeg GUI for extremely fast and lossless operations on video, audio, subtitle and other related media files. The main feature is lossless trimming and cutting of video and audio files, which is great for saving space by rough-cutting your large video files taken from a video camera, GoPro, drone, etc. It lets you quickly extract the good parts from your videos and discard many gigabytes of data without doing a slow re-encode and thereby losing quality. Or you can add a music or subtitle track to your video without needing to encode. Everything is extremely fast because it does an almost direct data copy, fueled by the awesome FFmpeg which does all the grunt work. Lossless merge/concatenation of arbitrary files (with identical codecs parameters, e.g. from the same camera). Lossless stream editing: Combine arbitrary tracks from multiple files (ex. add music or subtitle track to a video file).

Version 3.x available here on SourceForge has been superseded by version 4.x available on Github. The later is a port to JavaScript, PHP and Ruby - all dependencies on Flash have been removed, as well as some of the functionality it provided. DubEdit allows to edit the Video and the Audio channels of a media though the combination of layers that can be sources (video, picture, parametric shape, audio track, etc...), filters (resize, contrast, transparency, amplify, etc...) and mixers. All filters can be adjusted using parameters that may vary with the time in the media, either based on automatic curves between key frames or driven by formulas like in a spreadsheet. Ergonomic interface (including performance) is an important driver in designing DubEdit: every operation is undoable, all video editing is WYSIWYG. At this time DubEdit has only basic filters and mixers. But it has been designed to be easily extended with new powerful filters and mixers so that it can becomes capable of virtually any possible editing.
