ChessRogue is a turn-based game requiring careful play and problem solving skills, combining elements of Chess with the roguelike genre. You play the sole survivor of your side, fighting through increasingly tough levels to capture the enemy King.

KCChess -- yet another xboard-compatible chess engine.

Kenny is a Winboard/XBoard chess engine based on Winglet (http://www.sluijten.com/winglet/source/index.htm), an open source chess program. Winglet's full source code can be obtained from Winglet. Kenny is an advanced form of Winglet which plays better at some faster time levels like blitz chess or upto 20 minute games, but almost always loses against Winglet when the time controls are 40 minutes or more for each. These tests were run by setting up various tournamennts on the free Chess GUI Arena Version 3.0. Kenny uses modified values for evaluation of various parameters, thus introducing almost an entirely new engine, because the evaluation function is the heart of a chess engine.

Kenny ClassIQ (read Kenny Classic) is something like my dream project. It is a chess engine with pure object oriented programming with close-to-real-world representation of the game inside the program using OOPS. Initially I thought of doing a similar thing in C++, but after trying to develop my other chess engine Kenny in this route, I found out that it is a difficult task, and switched to using Java for the programming instead. To learn how to do it, I created a similar, many-times-lesser-in-complexity project KenTacToe. Having completed it successfully, I've gained the confidence to proceed with Kenny ClassIQ, named so because it is more class-oriented than Kenny, and because I want it to be intelligent. (A play with words landed me Kenny ClassIQ.) Also, I used this name so that people searching for my other chess engine Kenny can also find this more advanced chess engine (okay, yes, I wanted to name my chess engine Kenny, so).

Kingdom Wars is a client/server chess daemon designed to run on multiple operating platforms. Both the client and the server are stand alone. The network protocal is open, and custom clients are welcome to be developed.
