Open Source Code Generators

This program allows you to create bitmaps and fonts, and transform them to "C" source format for embedded applications. The transformation of the images to the source code is made by using templates. Therefore, by modifying the templates, you can change the format of the output within certain limits.

LaTeXDraw is a graphical drawing editor for LaTeX. LaTeXDraw can be used to 1) generate PSTricks code; 2) directly create PDF or PS pictures.

Atar8 Tools is a collection Atari 8-bit related of command line tools for Posix compatible environments: - Franny is an ATR disk image editor. Supports AtariDOS II disk format (partially) and SpartaDos 2 disk format. - Yvonne is an Atari picture viewer / converter. - ZooEY is a cross assembler designed for 6502 processors. Binaries are generated specially for Atari 8-bit systems (AtariDOS II and SpartaDOS X formats supported). This tool is compatible with Quick Assembler, one of most popular assembler in Poland.

With GLCD Tools you can convert windows bitmap files (bmp) to a byte array suitable for graphic LCD displays. Additionally you can create fontsets out of your system fonts for the displays. It outputs C Code which you can use in your µC project.

Embedded Font Generator (EFGen) is a generator of a cross-platform ANSI C code that renders a text using OpenGL. Generated code includes everything you need to render a custom text, also it is easy to compile and link with your application.

An application to take an image file (jpeg, bmp, etc) and convert it to an array of values suitable for including in source code. Source code is in C++ and developed under MS VS2008 and Emacs. Runs as a GUI app in Windows and a command-line app for *NIX.

html2fo is a converter from html to xsl:fo. The html code could be written with StarOffice or other WYSIWYM editors and must not be 100% valid html code. html2fo is designed to produce a valid xsl:fo for using FOP from Apache.

Converts bitmap file to c/c++ files (usefull for embedded systems with GUI). The color encoding is fully configurable (for example 16bit 5/6/5) and a "preview" bmp file is generated to show how much the picture is altered by the information reduction

jPicEdt is an extensible internationalized vector-based drawing editor for LaTeX and related packages (TikZ, PsTricks,...), written in Java. It is also a library of reusable high-level graphic primitives.

The Eclipse Visual Editor project is a platform for creating Visual classes and GUI builders within Eclipse. The project currently provides support for WYSIWYG editing of Swing/AWT and SWT/RCP user interfaces. Originally developed as an Eclipse Project the Visual Editor project was discontinued and archived in June 2011. This project is a community based fork of the archived sources. The archived source and website trees have been converted from CVS to Subversion. This code can be freely downloaded or browsed online using the 'Code' link above. The VE releases are available for installation from the Eclipse Marketplace or using the Eclipse Update Manager. A utility to help create animations in POV-Ray, a free raytracer. In your POV-Ray code, insert variable names instead of numbers for any values which may change. An #include file is generated based on keyframes which will fill in those variabes.

From this high-level description, low-level target code for GPU accelerators is generated using source-to-source translation. As back ends, the framework supports CUDA, OpenCL, and Renderscript. HIPAcc allows programmers to develop imaging applications while providing high productivity, flexibility and portability as well as competitive performance: the same algorithm description serves as basis for targeting different GPU accelerators and low-level languages.
