The Automalator * deconstructs the C code into the core state machine * collates the transactions into the dependency net * generates a diagram-format file with the states and dependencies as the nodes and edges. Draper adds an object-oriented layer of presentation logic to your Rails application. Without Draper, this functionality might have been tangled up in procedural helpers or adding bulk to your models. With Draper decorators, you can wrap your models with presentation-related logic to organize and test this layer of your app much more effectively. Imagine your application has an Article model. With Draper, you'd create a corresponding ArticleDecorator. The decorator wraps the model, and deals only with presentational concerns. In the controller, you decorate the article before handing it off to the view. In the view, you can use the decorator in exactly the same way as you would have used the model. But whenever you start needing logic in the view or start thinking about a helper method, you can implement a method on the decorator instead. -

While coding with AI assist, I noticed bigger projects need something more rigid as context so the AI coder doesn't stray away when I try to add new features. You know, to keeps its memory fresh and not change the stuff that already works. The trick is to ask the AI to write a diagram in Mermaid.js format that solidifies the structure of the project and then use that as context to keep the AI reminded at all times what the project is as a whole. This will prevent it from changing things its not supposed to change. This standalone offline web app will convert that mermaid.js code into a visual SVG image so that YOU as a human will be able to understand what the AI think about the structure of your projects so you can see it and fix any misconceptions until the diagram is correct for your project. (Source code is included in the html itself. Open it in a web browser to use.) -

ReacType is a rapid prototyping tool built on Electron that allows users visualize their application architecture dynamically, employing a drag-and-drop canvas display and an interactive, real-time component code preview that can be exported as a React app for developers employing React component architecture alongside the comprehensive type-checking of TypeScript. In other words, you can draw prototypes and export React / TypeScript code! After opening the dmg and dragging ReacType into your Applications folder, ctrl+click the icon and select 'Open' from the context menu to run the app. This extra step is necessary since we don't have an Apple developer license yet. If you are given a warning that Apple could not scan the app. Users can now manage state dynamically within nested components using React Hooks within the state manager tab. For a selected component, users can see a list of available props from the parent, add props, and delete props in case they are not required later on. -

To make a custom color picker, create a top-level component that will act as the bridge with the CustomPicker high order component. Wrap the export with the CustomPicker function. Every color picker provided is made up of a collection of helper components. Those components are accessible for you to use to make a custom color picker. Use EditableInput to display an input / label that acts as the single source of truth until the input is blurred.
