A console application made in C++ for professionals. This application on bank management provides everything you need for handling a stable banking system. It does account for the account holders, the employees, credits taken by the account holders. The application is responsible for a lot of tasks. But however it is meant for students who want awesome C++ projects. Code pioneers have an awesome chance to go through the code amazingly written in an understandable manner. The toolkit glpk supports methods for mixed integer linear programming (MILP). These methods solve Capital Budgeting Problems (CBP). Unfortunately, glpk does not support any multithreading and there is no feature to distribute problems via network connections. Today, this is a pitiable sight, because modern computer systems are coupled by networks and support multi threading. We create a distributed system with Apache thrift and the C-API of glpk. Now, it is possible to use as many cores in a network as you want. With a focus on the MILP methods we implement a load balancing and speed up the solving process in a multiplicative way. Sometimes we have super-linear speedup with a small set of hardware. With a splitting of problems, parallel computing and distributing the actual best solution to all running processes we solve CBP much faster than a sequential processing can do.

Cyber.NET is an attempt to port the famous Cybera Cyber Cafe software to the Microsoft .NET platform. Cybera is written in Visual Basic 6 and needs to be ported to Visual Basic .NET to get ready for the future. The first step is to port the Cybera client to .NET. In the second step the Cybera server will be ported. There will be no new features in the first two steps. If the ports are stable, feature enhancements can taken into account. Help is appreciated as for every open source project :-)
