Open Source Object Pascal Frameworks for Mac

This is a widget set to quickly develop cross-platform GUI software using the Free Pascal Compiler. It doesn't rely on large third party libraries - which makes fpGUI applications easy to deploy. Also included: help viewer, visual form designer.

Asphyre, also known as Platform eXtended Library, is a cross-platform framework for developing video games and scientific applications in Delphi, and FreePascal/Lazarus. The framework provides facilities for real-time rendering of graphics (using DirectX, OpenGL or Software Renderer), text output, mathematics (including vectors and matrices) and networking communication, among other features. It also supports singleboard devices such as Raspberry PI, Intel Galileo, BeagleBone Black and others with features like GPIO, SPI, I2C and so on, along with external displays, sensors and other peripheral devices.

PressObjects is a software development kit (SDK) composed of several frameworks that assist the construction of object oriented applications. The code is compatible with Delphi-Win32 and Free Pascal compilers.

Based upon my 20+ year old super fast QCrt text mode display driver, QuickCrt is an event driven object-oriented framework for rapid application development using Turbo Pascal 7.0 for DOS. Completely self contained, it uses no 3rd party or original Borland units (excluding the built-in System unit). It uses no Turbo Vision and is more like Delphi minus the drag and drop. It has support for String formatting, Custom text fonts, Themes, Keyboard mappings, Config files and Multiple languages baked into it. However, this initial version is more of a "Proof of Concept" and engine for PGME. Rather than an actual project. It has some serious limitations. Since it was built in a "vacuum" with no pre-planning, it is a little bit of spaghetti code. Also, it doesn't support real windowing, multi-tasking or draw behind visible objects. QCrt 9 is currently under development. It is a complete rewrite in assembly with TP wrappers. It is being hosted at http://github.com/LoopZ/QCrt

Lazarus template application project with full localization. It took me quite some time to create a fully featured application project that could set the language from the system but also had the capability to set the language live from the application itself. Templating is good. It saves time because you don't have to reinvent the wheel and it prevents bugs because what you already have is probably already tested. Includes a package for the Lazarus IDE that adds items to the File | New dialog. Selecting "qooxdoo JavaScript App" creates either a single-page or two-page master-detail qooxdoo app and a Lazarus project for managing and editing the app's JavaScript files. Selecting "qooxdoo JavaScript Page" adds a page to the app and to the Lazarus project. Can also "compile" (run generate.py) from within Lazarus - if a syntax error is detected, the code editor jumps to the JavaScript file and line where the error is located. Also includes full source code for the Unicodum demo app. This is a Unicode viewer consisting of a qooxdoo-based mobile client and a choice of Pascal (FCGI) or PHP server app.
