    PhEq_bootstrap

    FDA's f2 computation with bootstrap technique

    This program was developed as a help in establishing pharmaceutical equivalence by use of FDA f2 coefficient. It was designed to help with f2 computation in cases when intra- and inter-batch variability is large, namely RSD>10%. The use of statistical bootstrap technique allows to implement confidence interval (CI) into the f2 coefficients resulting in overcoming of their major drawback in the original metrics. The algorithm provides possible “worst case scenario” of f2 values, thus supporting claim about pharmaceutical equivalence. The target users are researchers from industry and academia dealing with pharmaceutical equivalence problem. The software is Open Source. It was developed in Lazarus environment, therefore source code is available in ObjectPascal.

    Statistics101 - Resampling Statistics

    Statistics101 - Resampling Statistics

    Use simulation to perform statistical analyses.

    Statistics101 is an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that uses a simple, powerful language called “Resampling Stats” to develop Monte Carlo programs to analyze and solve statistical problems. The original Resampling Stats language and computer program were developed by Dr. Julian Simon and Peter Bruce as a new way to teach Statistics to social science students. Of course, social science students aren't the only ones who can benefit. Anyone who wants to learn statistics will find that the resampling approach helps in understanding statistical concepts from the simplest to the most difficult. In addition, professionals who want to use resampling, bootstrapping, or Monte Carlo simulations will find Statistics101 helpful. More information at https://statistics101.sourceforge.io/

    A MATLAB package to simulate sample paths of the solution of a Itô or Stratonovich stochastic differential equation (SDE), compute statistics and estimate the parameters from data. A note of caution: SDE Toolbox is no more developed but it's still downloadable. Its inferential capabilities can be considered surpassed (at best). Actually the parameter estimation methods were already far from the state-of-art when the project began in 2007 (!). The considered implemented parametric and non-parametric Monte Carlo likelihood methods were chosen for their ability to treat both one-dimensional and multivariate SDE systems, although the quality of the inferential results can't match those obtained using more advanced techniques. Nevertheless the toolbox capabilities to simulate numerical solutions of SDE systems are still valid and can serve as a useful starting point to those willing to simulate stochastic dynamical models easily.

    Noisy Channel Simulator

    Demonstrate errors in transmission of a file over a noisy channel.

    This program was written to dimonstrate errors in transmission for a presentation on Claude Shannon's Noisy Channel Coding Theorem. It takes an input file, the probability of a bit being flipped, and, if specified, the size of the header of the file. The program was intended to take monochrome bitmap files as input, so that each bit refers to a pixel in the image and thus, it would be easy to see errors in the output file, as some of the pixels would be flipped; however, it will work on any input file.

    OpenM++

    OpenM++: open source microsimulation platform

    IMPORTANT: ========== Our project home page: https://openmpp.org Our latest source code and release available at: https://github.com/openmpp/main/releases/latest Our documentation available at: https://github.com/openmpp/openmpp.github.io/wiki SourceForge files still exist for historical reason. OpenM++ is an open source microsimulation platform inspired by and compatible with Modgen. OpenM++, compared to its closed source predecessor Modgen, has advantages like portability, scalability and open source. It is not a copy of Modgen, but a new, functionally equivalent implementation of the publicly available language specification.

    abc-sde

    approximate Bayesian computation for stochastic differential equations

    A MATLAB toolbox for approximate Bayesian computation (ABC) in stochastic differential equation models. It performs approximate Bayesian computation for stochastic models having latent dynamics defined by stochastic differential equations (SDEs) and not limited to the "state-space" modelling framework. Both one- and multi-dimensional SDE systems are supported and partially observed systems are easily accommodated. Variance components for the "measurement error" affecting the data/observations can be estimated. A 50-pages Reference Manual is provided with two case-studies implemented and discussed. The methodology is based on the research article available at http://arxiv.org/abs/1204.5459 Author's research page is http://www.maths.lth.se/matstat/staff/umberto/
