A simple Windows tool that can format USB or physical volumes to either NTFS or FAT32. It supports custom Volume names and quick formatting. Done out of boredom and curiosity for practicing purposes. The program will refuse to format the Windows partition. Because the Windows partition is not always C, the check is not hard-coded. Rather, I perform a comparison between the currently selected volume to format and the known System volume. If they match, I trip a flag.

A small application for listing the contents(files/folders/extensions) of a folder. The results includes file name length/full path length/maximum extensions. It supports exporting a report in .txt/.csv format with fully customizable contents.

Pluggable foundation blocks for building loosely coupled distributed apps. Includes implementations in Redis, Azure, AWS, RabbitMQ and in memory (for development). When building several big cloud applications we found a lack of great solutions (that's not to say there aren't solutions out there) for many key pieces to building scalable distributed applications while keeping the development experience simple. Wanted to build against abstract interfaces so that we could easily change implementations. Wanted the blocks to be dependency injection friendly. We were initially using an open-source Redis cache client but then it turned into a commercial product with high licensing costs. Not only that but there weren't any in-memory implementations so every developer was required to set up and configure Redis. We initially looked at NServiceBus (a great product) but it had high licensing costs (they have to eat too) and was not OSS friendly.

Disk Garden - program for cataloging disks (cd, dvd). Program scans disks and saves catalogs in one file. Disks can be segragate into categories (ex. movies, games). Folders and files can be tagged. It's similiar to Advanced Disk Catalog or WhereIsIt?.

If you have tagged files already you can search through them by entering tag or tags(separate tags with a space) into box at the top and clicking the Search button. • Select File - In this window you select a file to be tagged, you can change directory with button in the top left corner, to tag a file you need to select it from the list and click Next button, or double click a file on the list. • Tag Files - Here you can assign tags to the selected file, write your tag in the box and press the Add button, your tag will appear in the list below, you can delete a tag by selecting it and clicking Remove Tag button.
