S3 Batcher allows you to execute operations like restoring and deleting objects in batch, providing a way to specify a criteria for AWS S3 to match those and apply the desired effect. Although AWS provides a pretty comprehensive UI to manage your objects, this is not enough and forces you to use the aws-cli in those cases where you need a precise action to take place, or whenever this action is not even available. The specific use case that pushed me to build this was object versioning, where while you can restore specific versions, undelete and so on, you can only do this one file at a time. Therefore, if you are dealing with large amounts of objects, you don't have a quick way to do so (aws-cli even fails to work with pages -> https://github.com/aws/aws-cli/issues/3191 is still open by the time I am writing this). This project is based on the sourceforge project tn5250j. The intention of this tn5250jEngine project was to capsulate a slim core modul interpreting the Telnet 5250 stream. This core module provides a 5250-ScreenGrid Interface for any GUI application.

The program ttylog is a serial port logger which can be used to print everything that comes in to a serial device to stdout. The device and the baud rate can be specified on the command line and a timeout can be set instead of just killing the process in order to stop it. You can also elect to have the output being sent to standard out to be time stamped.

I have written this short script to correct vowel mutation (Umlaut) errors in filenames. This errors typically occur when you copy files to a system with UTF-8 charset from a system using another charset. One typical case is when a Windows-Client transfers files via FTP on a server using UTF-8. Such errors can't be corrected using convmv.
