Open Source Simulation Games

The basic goal of The Aceituna project is to create a massive multiplayer strategy game in the style of Sid "God" Meier's Civilization, but adding far more detail and complexity, thus creating a "living" world for the players to inhabite.

Bloft (BLObby and sOFT) is a real-time soft-body physics simulator optimized for real-world mobile phones. It is written in Java and uses fixed-point math only. Memory allocations are minimized to suite the needs of JVMs in older mobile phones.

This project is about creating A Web-based collaborative development environment that enables users of Web 2.0 communities and Web-based social networks to create and share interactive applications collaboratively.

A windows based simulator for a real multimedia message service center.

This mobile business game was developed at Massey University and AUT in Auckland New Zealand for use by students. As part of the funding contract with Ako Aoteroa the game is being made freely available for public use. The SourceForge site is a work in progress, but currently hosts two versions of the game, the original one that runs on Nokia S60 phones, and the current version, which runs on Android devices. Source code is provided for the Nokia version. The source for the Android version will be uploaded when intial testing is complete.
