The bflow* Toolbox is an open source tool kit for business process management. The objective of bflow* is to explore new ways and scenarios for the development and use of modelling tools.

That project aims at providing a clean API, and the corresponding C++ implementation, for the basis of Airline IT Business Object Model (BOM), ie, to be used by several other Open Source projects, such as RMOL, Air-Sched, Travel-CCM, OpenTREP, etc.

CASUP is a Cellular Automata (CA) library for HPC and supercomputers. The Location Containment Object Model(LCOM) is a simulation framework written in Python. LCOM provides a rule-based solution to handling partial object containment, object migration, message passing, and simulation observation.

Metaquokka is a highly configurable xml editor, currently available as Gridsphere portlet. Besides the default format, there is suppoert for ESysXML, a simulation description scheme for a geodynamics framework. Supports Generic Mapping Tools rudimentary.

Narrator is a graphical modelling tool for the description of dynamical systems and processes. Narrator is SBML compatible.

PeerSE is a graphical experiment environment for analysing and developing peer-to-peer (p2p) systems in Java.

PerMoTo is a Performance Modelling Tool suite for decision support in the capacity and performance management of distributed transaction processing systems based on Queueing Theory and Discrete Event Simulation.

Briefly said, PetriNetExec is an open-source Java library which allows you to embed Petri Nets into your Java application. Using PetriNetExec you can define places and transitions, connect them using arcs and inhibitors, define the initial marking and then fire events and see how tokens flow into the network. * PetriNetExec does not provide a GUI for editing the network nor will it provide in the near future. That is not really a feature :-) but to those of you able to cope with this news I suggest to read further; * Petri Nets are created with PetriNetExec by writing Java code and using the provided API; * PetriNetExec provides a simple yet powerful callback mechanism allowing you to actually do something when events are fired and the network status is changing. * PetriNetExec is embeddable into your Java application. This means that you can build your own application and add Petri Nets into it. * PetriNetExec is open-source.

RPowerFlow - a steady state electric power system power flow solver.

The Gateways Team of the Live-Virtual-Constructive Architecture Roadmap Implementation (LVCAR-I) effort is developing a set of tools that will support the gateway community. One of these tools is the Simulation Data Exchange Model (SDEM) Mapping Language (SML) Editor. The tool provides the ability to import two SDEMs in their native language and subsequently view the entities that need to be mapped between the two SDEMs. The SDEM Editor also allows the user to create these mappings and store the result in an SML file.

A Simple and Efficient Framework for Infinite Resolution Simulation; provides a Java Thread-like class that executes over simulated time. Time units are user-definable, no time quanta, and neither changes to the VM nor pre-processing are required.
