ToolBook uses a book metaphor — a project file is thought of as a book containing pages of content. Content created in ToolBook could be viewed as a standalone Windows application or could be Published into HTML format to be viewed within a Web Browser. ToolBook 11.5, released in December of 2012, is the final version of ToolBook.
