ToolBook uses a book metaphor — a project file is thought of as a book containing pages of content. Content created in ToolBook could be viewed as a standalone Windows application or could be Published into HTML format to be viewed within a Web Browser. ToolBook 11.5, released in December of 2012, is the final version of ToolBook. SumTotal has determined that ToolBook has reached End-Of-Life and no longer sells ToolBook and will fully retire the product January 1, 2022.
