"IXL is a great product for teachers and parents." Edited 2022-10-20
Pros: Great Diagnostic tool and data that comes with it. Suggestions for skill practice based on the diagnostic and continuing work on IXL. Easy to use. Help is available if you need it. Can be used for daily work and/or homework.
Cons: There is nothing I would change about IXL, now that they run through the 12th grade and have added Spanish.
Overall: I have been using IXL, as a teacher, for over ten years. I always begin with the diagnostic and record the data for my records. When using IXL in my lesson I use the personalized recommendations and the skills they suggest. I urge parents to consider using it at home for homework or homeschooling. I think very highly of IXL and I trust the results that I'm seeing.
