Atomik AppleScript for Ircle News

I have started porting Atomik over to MacOS X.
I have got it to the stage where everything is running apart from the seen functions and the notes functionality.
I am having trouble getting the PrefsDialog.as to compile under classic at the moment so there is no preferences editing. I do have a PrefsConvert.as setup so that the old preference format can be converted into the new one and then used under X.
