  • I tried this as I was fed-up with LibreOffice and this looked simpler so more suited to my needs. Never again, it trashed the 3 files that I opened. That is unforgivable, any other bug is manageable, but trashing your files! Luckily I do regular backups. The website is defunct and this site shows that the software hasn't been updated for 11 years (as of 2015). Avoid!
  • Jut what we need at home. Avoid last versions 2.9 (bugs) choose 2.8 or 3.0.1 for Linux
  • Très bien pour les besoins domestiques, le look est moderne, Abiword commence à peiner à partir de 3 pages. Si l'on veut faire de gros documents, procéder par tranches que vous regrouperez en final. Attention la version 2.9 est une version bêta, utiliser la 2.8.6 bien suffisante pour la maison. pas de support, mais franchement, c'est Microsoft Word tout craché.

  • This is a very lightweight word processor. If you only need a word processor, then this is for you.
  • When you save files and try to open them with Word, they are all jumbled or or scrambled. Open Office is much better
