  • Hello ! WHowww.....!!!!! It is an ultra-lightweight distro, with about 285Mo of ram at start up !!! Runs flawlessly.Keep up the good work.
  • Earlier versions and this latest 2025 edition don't seem to like newer hardware and I finally had to resort to virtualbox to see what is was actually like. I guess the target audience is for older machines, but it seems a bit poor newer hardware is not fully catered for. I like the old school trinity desktop and it seems to have sensible software choices - for older machines. Been a while since I've seen K3B (CD/DVD burner) because I went off KDE around version 4 as too bloated and buggy and it must be at least a decade since I included an optical drive in a PC build. As another choice for resurrecting old hardware it has some merit, but people with newer hardware have better choices elsewhere.
  • Fast, light and very easy to install; I've really enjoyed my experience running Exe GNU/Linux for these past six months. The TDE desktop has everything that I need and is very familiar and uncomplicated. I've written a more detailed review of EXE on my personal blog, which can be found if you visit the Vivaldi.net community space. I highly recommend EXE to both the novice and experienced desktop computer user.
  • Es fácil su manejo pero no hay tanto soporte
  • It was very nice! I love that that useless pulseaudio has been left our and anything else 'systemd'. I had a blast using it for a few days. Everything simply worked. I just have a hard time still with Openbox. For some reason I just can't wrap my mind around how to get around on it like I could with KDE. The only thing unfortunate about my few days of using it was, the live version isn't 'persistent', so nothing is saved if you have to reboot for some reason. If the devs could figure out how to use the iso2usb.sh that AlienBob came up with for his licveslak (for Slackware), they'd have a gold medal winner here with ExeGNU/Linux.
  • Thank you for it! It's a gold distro. No SystemD, no Pulseaudio (available just in the repo), with Trinity desktop it's a beautiful, it is possible to choose whether or not to install the grub (i use Extlinux to install from synaptic before to install Exe GNU Linux). It's beautiful. Thank you. Bye Francesco bat
  • Is there going to be a version based on ASCII ??
  • I develop URONode and axMail-FAX for the ham radio community. TrinityDesktop/Debian is the platform I recommend for hams - Wheezy version as kernels above 3.x seem to have issues with the amateur protocol stacks. It's worked fine for me for a few years now.
