      scariest weapon in fiction? (mechs, the death star, combat vehicles, etc all count as weapons, and I'll count robots intended to be weapons like Terminators, but not all robots, for example, Data from Star Trek isn't a weapon even if he's quite scary if you used him as one, I will also count stuff like the T-Virus from Resident Evil as a weapon, and I guess Pokemon count too but like keep to the spirit of the question please)

        Having invested in a last month I borrowed ‘Donkey Kong Bananza’ from a colleague. I completed it this evening out of stubbornness and will not look back at my time with it fondly. It’s quite possibly the gaudiest, most over-stimulating and exhausting video game I have ever played.

            Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is my favorite campaign of any of the Call of Duty games. I have played through it twice since its release and have it on Steam to play again sometime in the future. I wrote a long piece after my second playthrough.

            This video goes through how wrong gamers were during Infinite Warfare's initial release. This game is the lowest selling game of the whole Call of Duty franchise, which is unfortunate. If you haven't played the game, play the game. Second, if you haven't played the game only watch the first part of the long video because the video walks through the whole story of the game -- don't spoil it for yourself.

              Banger game with seemingly endless replayability which is very much worth it's price.

                      I know there are tactile dice and things for some tabletop RPGs and things. While I’m especially curious about digital or video games, I’d also love to hear about more analog examples that are great!

                              14 years today since 'Binary Domain' was released for the PS3 and Xbox 360, with the PC version arriving a bit later. An incredibly fun and criminally underrated cyberpunk third-person shooter. It combined great gameplay mechanics with solid sci-fi themes, but was completely overshadowed by other titles, most notably 'Mass Effect 3'.

                              Shoutout to the other five people who actually played this game. 🤘

                              If you're thinking of checking it out, it’s currently 80% off on Steam (around €2.99), practically a steal.
