Somehow the order of my „recently closed tabs“ list in Safari (on iOS at least) is upside down. Means, the oldest are on top and I‘d have to scroll two kilometers to reach the one I just accidentally closed. Who at Apple thinks this is a good idea? Was it always like this or is this a recent change?

How to play music on your living room speakers, the Apple way: Click on Music app, expand controls floaty, click on weird symbol at the bottom, click on „show all speakers“ floaty, select your speaker, now click somewhere but do not hit the floaty. Now close the open playlist by swiping down. Be sure to not hit a song. Now you can select the playlist you wanted to play! Easy!

throwing out a Linux and iPhone question here

I have an iPhone 17 on iOS 26.3, and I can't access my photos from it on my (up to date) Linux Mint laptop.

Accessing the photos on a Win11 box shows that there is an additional step "allow access to photos?" requiring confirmation on the iPhone side with Win11, that isn't coming up on the Linux box.

I have been able (on iOS 18, a mini 12) to download iPhone photos previously

Any thoughts on how to resolve?

I can see the iPhone in the file system, and idevicepair says that the device is paired and available, so I suspect it's the one additional confirmation step that I see on Windows11 that is the issue.
