— Measured on one 8-core box

10,845 events per second, at 57% CPU.

On a single 8-core / 16 GB box, under real production traffic. As the load climbed tenfold, the database barely moved. It never became the bottleneck.

— One box, one binary

The whole engine is one process and one database.

No message bus. No cache tier. No worker fleet. The dashboard and the tracker are compiled into the binary. Fewer moving parts means fewer failure modes and far less to operate.

One binary plus ClickHouse
Nothing else to stand up. The dashboard and tracker ship inside the executable.
Rollups, not raw scans
Dashboards read pre-aggregated rollups, so they stay fast even at billions of rows, the exact point where query-time engines slow down.
About 22 bytes per event
Best-in-class storage. Less disk, longer retention, lower cost.

No Kafka. No Redis. No queue.

There is no IP column.

Raw IP enters only for a GeoIP lookup, then it is discarded before anything is written. The schema cannot store it. Cookieless by construction, with daily rotating salts.

— Privacy invariants

The privacy contract, same on SaaS and self-hosted.

  • No cookies. No localStorage. No sessionStorage.
  • No fingerprinting. No third-party tag managers.
  • EU/EEA-only data processing on Netcup VPS in Nuremberg.
  • Daily rotating salts. Same visitor, different hash each day.
  • Art. 28(3) DPA on every plan, signed 2026-04-24.
  • Sub-processor list updated within 7 days of any upstream change.
  • Self-hosted by construction. Your data never leaves your box.
  • DNT and GPC respected on by default.

Same privacy invariants. Two deployment shapes.
