Gladiatorial battle in the Star Wars universe

STAR WARS: Hunters™ is a free multiplayer action game set in the iconic Star Wars universe. In this shooter game from Zynga, you get to play as one of the races featured in the books and movies, each having its own arsenal and move sets to suit varying playstyles.

With its introduction of new content and a lot of new story materials, STAR WARS: Hunters™ manages to continue the Star Wars tradition of creating new and unique characters fans can relate to. If you liked Star Wars: Commander or Star Wars: Force Arena, this one is a great addition.

Lead your Hunter to victory

The premise behind STAR WARS: Hunters™ revolves around an intergalactic tournament in the place called The Arena, located in the lawless Outer Rim. You play as one of the Hunters, whose ranks vary from bounty hunters similar to Boba Fett to heroes of the Resistance. Each of them has unique skill sets that reflect their story and nature as referenced in other Star Wars materials.

As an official game in the multimedia franchise, the likenesses of each race have been represented faithfully–whether you play as a towering Wookie or a rogue Stormtrooper. Additionally, there are a lot of features available for you to customize to your liking. From costumes to weapons, plus unique animations, you are given options to make your Hunter stand out from the rest.

Additionally, the game has three PvP game modes. The first is the Escort mode, which will require your team to guard a payload and lead it to safety. Next is Control mode, which pits two teams as they try to take control of various points on the map. Last is the Huttball mode, which might sound familiar to players who have played the fan-made Halo mode, Oddball. The game, however, currently faces slight inconveniences in terms of matchmaking and game mechanics.

Offers a variety of game modes and classes

Furthermore, the game embarks players on an intense combat journey across various modes, each designed to test their strategy and teamwork. In the adrenaline-pumping Squad Brawl, teams clash in a race to rack up 20 eliminations, making every move and countermove critical to outsmarting the opponent and securing victory. Meanwhile, Dynamic Control shifts the battlefield continuously, pushing squads to adapt rapidly and capture rotating points of power.

While Power Control demands a blend of agility and strategy, as teams vie to dominate the majority of Control Points, highlighting the importance of coordination and control to emerge victorious. Lastly, Trophy Chase introduces a unique challenge, where two teams battle to possess the Trophy Droid, TR0-F33, setting the stage for a thrilling chase to reach 100% first, requiring strategic team play and quick thinking.

Within the dynamic arenas, players can carve their path to victory by choosing a class that best fits their gameplay style. Indispensable for their ability to inflict significant harm onto opponents, the Damage class unleashes a relentless assault, turning the tide of battle with powerful attacks. These characters excel in obliterating opponents, making them a formidable force that can swing the momentum in their team's favor.

In contrast, the battlefield sustains its pulse through the Support class, the unsung heroes whose prowess in healing and aiding allies prolongs the squad's resilience. Their ability to maintain the team's vitality is unmatched, making them indispensable in prolonged encounters. Standing unyielded at the forefront, the Tank class epitomizes strength and endurance. These warriors are the backbone of any squad, absorbing damage and shielding their teammates from the brunt of the enemy's onslaught.

Season 4 and early access on PC announcement

As the game is committed to bringing Star Wars fans more than what they are expecting, it continuously enhances its gameplay as it introduces Season 4 Survival Instinct where players are welcomed with a new Hunter, Nox. Nox grew up as a small and weak young orphan and has a younger sister who was kidnapped. Determined to find her sister and make the people who took her sister pay, she joined the Order of the Night Wind and became an assassin.

Nox has an arsenal of abilities such as the jump boost, poisoned spread shot, aerial dodge, and impairment field. Moreover, this new season pits players into a new battlefield as well — the Endor Aftermath, which is inspired by the forest moon of Endor. Also, Season 4 Survival Instinct offers three game modes for players: Scrap Salvage, Arrow Assault, and Huttball.

To score in Scrap Salvage, you must deposit Scrap to a few Anzellans who took over the residency in the Arena. While Arrow Assault sees eight players take to the Arena as Nox. Lastly, Huttball was updated as players can now use their traversal abilities without the need to drop the Huttball. On the other hand, following the game’s full release on mobile devices and consoles, this new addition to the Star Wars universe will be available on early access on PC bringing the new battlefield Coruscant Underworld and new damage hunter Glikkin

A promising game for Star Wars fans

In conclusion, the above-mentioned ability power of the game is a canon to the Star Wars lore. STAR WARS: Hunters™ will exceed the expectations of franchise fans looking for something similar to Call of Duty: Mobile although set in the iconic universe created by George Lucas. From quality character designs to wide customization options, this is a game that sheds light on the expansive universe while keeping players hooked for days on end.
