I honestly don’t think I’ll ever get tired of San Andreas. I have so many memories with this game from when I was younger, and coming back to it now just feels different. It’s not even about the graphics or anything, it’s just the feeling this game gives me. Some games are just part of your childhood, and this is definitely one of them.

This whole trilogy should've been handled by Rockstar in the first place so they get a thumbs down from me just for allowing this remaster trilogy to be butchered by a third rate development team before they finally came and fixed it themselves. Also all these games require the Rockstar's awful launcher! The characters look too waxy and there's still bugs here and there!

I have always liked GTA San Andreas, as a kid, this was one of the first games I ever played, but back then I didn't really follow the story, so I mostly just played around and gave up at the Flying School because I could not get through those plane missions, haha.

But now I am playing the GTA franchise again before GTA VI comes out, and playing San Andreas now and actually paying attention to the story, I was just stunned.

The story for this game is just a masterpiece, it feels like putting together a puzzle, with everything slowly connecting piece by piece until everything starts making sense. The amount of things you can actually do is insane as this was a 2004 game, and even though I played the Definitive Edition, the huge variety of gameplay systems and activities comes from the OG San Andreas. For a game from that era, it is impressive how much freedom you have. There are so many different activities, vehicles, missions, side activities, customization options and completely different areas to explore. And the map is diverse, with cities, countryside, mountains, forests and deserts.

Overall, I absolutely recommend San Andreas. Whether you played it back in the day or you're jumping in for the first time, there’s so much here to enjoy and it absolutely has replay value. Finally experiencing the story properly was great, and it’s a game I’m definitely going to keep coming back to.
