Out of all the Rune Factory games, including the spin-offs… it’s this one. THIS right here. And no, it’s not nostalgia speaking, no no. This game just has the sauce ⋆* ⁑⋆*

The graphics are very “PS1/DS-era charm,” so I can see how it might not be everyone’s thing. But Rune Factory 4 Special is still a pretty big upgrade from the original. Random events got some nice QoL improvements, which makes everything feel smoother. +Combat is more fun, and the endgame actually gets surprisingly challenging.

Ah yes, tiny little 3DS cartridge carrying my entire emotional wellbeing over to PC- oop.. Maybe it is nostalgia after all (҂` ﾛ ´)︻デ═一 ＼(º □ º l|l)/!!

Lovely game, so much character and depth for a game so old. I've been playing games since I was a wee lad and this is by far the most relaxing farming and the most entertaining story for a game in this category. Can't recommend enough.
