Great remake even if I did not play the original version. This spinoff of the serie is solid and worth your time and money (on discount I would say). It has some downsides but the overall experience is satisfying.

I really enjoy the combat styles, they are technical and dynamic, can be sometimes a bit buggy but nice. QTE are perfect as they are very rare.
The city of Kyo is well made and animated, real pleasure to just hanging around, doing some activities or side quests.

On the downsides:
STORY : it is very slow and it can get confusing with all the names ... I would say it is OK
CRAFTING: I did not see any interested to enter into that part except adding orbes, which makes almost all items of zero interest.
I wish it was a bit more violent, darker, we cut people in half with our blades but at the end they just "I am sorryyyyy, won't happen again".

It's a good remake BUT UNREAL ENGINE 5?! well i don't care what other people say but i hate this remake alot, yes it does fun but it's was very CRANKY the movement during combat was not smooth at all but thank to the troop cards it does make the game less boring but yes it still annoying how bad the movesets and movement are. I wish i can play this remake in dragon engine-- Just WHO in the first place think it a great idea to use unreal engine 5 in the company No one want other engine! DRAGON ENGINE is unqiue as itself!

But overall still doesn't change the fact that the game is great. I like the story, QTE look amazing but somehow got lock on 30 fps? and it also a bit laggy Maybe because my poorly computer but hell yeah the QTE is Amazing! love it. How tell you this

IT was average. uhh i'll say this game is worse combat in yakuza game

The sword fight was not that fun for many reason.
The combo was.....disappointed. knock off taiga saejima version of sword but worse, you can get punish if not use right. Haha.
Yes i hate ishin combat right now. I just love it more when it was on ps3

story is keeping me playing this game and side quest. Yes Story is amazing, history is fun.

as much as i hate the gameplay mechanic there is still something to love about this game well. figure it out by yourself, i don't know oh i mean it does! I love minigame and troop card! And rougelite dungeon it was bad but still fun! also bad unreal engine 5 performance it little bit laggy (Maybe my computer not that good)
BUT overal kinda neat. It would be better if it still using Dragon Engine!

BUT For the money! IT NOT WORTH IT!! wait for sale or something! I preorder deluxe edition and it was very bad decision for me but as much as i love RGG....Fine
