Unique and fun

One of the best RPG's I've had the joy of playing on a mechanical level. The simple change of making status effects work in the nature of the turn bar is genius and makes all combat feel amazing to play around, and edlessly deep with the ways one can use the mechanics. Not to mention the solving of the issue of item hoarding by making inventory a stat which can be refilled at any time, absolutely enlightened.
While it was the innovative gameplay which blew me away, the story and it's characters are an absolute delight, and many sequences had me grinning ear to ear, with the joy poured into this loving artwork. Some top tier humour in this one, and the absurdity of it's world yet depth to it's commitment with it leaves me wondering about the vastness of it all.
A massive recommendation for any music or rpg fan, this is a true diamond in the rough.
