Hi, I have a question. I’ve started playing again after a long break; I own the base game and the R18 version. Is it worth getting the DLC to upgrade to version 2.5? I’ve heard it has issues and removes the effects of the R18 DLC. What do you recommend? Thanks....

Its weights over 250 GB on my drive, like what the hell seriously? Lots of open world RPGs dosnt weight that much and it has lots of stuff and content and things. Its a like freakin visual novel with few scenes inside few rooms and its 250 GB?!?!? Hilarious. Also incredibly sad....

This game is often compared to Koikatsu and many will say Koikatsu is superior. They would be correct if you factored in the use of mods, but even then COM3D2 is leagues better when it comes to actual plot and roleplay H. Also, while not a merit of COM3D2 itself, you need very few mods for essential "gameplay" for this game and all can be installed easily via krypto5863's COM Modular Installer from github.

To begin with, the main plot of the game is not that interesting, just cute girls doing cute things. BUT the romance storyline for each girl have actual decent writing if not a little cliched at times. My favorites are Cunning and Masochist personality storylines where the girls are more than what they appear and become drastically different people when they are in love; Cliche, I know, but charming nonetheless. (Note: Each maid can be created with a personality that determine voice and storyline, and you can get new personality from DLCs)

The game features a lot of H variations: Vanilla, BDSM, Cuckoldry, Swapping, Threesome, Foursome, Harem, etc. This is where COM3D2 beat most games of its kind on the market.

So why buy this game instead of Koikatsu? Chances are when you buy Koikatsu you will need to install a lot of mods and can take up to nearly 1TB of storage in order for popular shared character cards to be compatible with your copy. COM3D2 has "enough" amount of content right out of the box so you don't actually need any mod aside from the decensor one.

Now, here comes a huge caveat: you will NEED to buy DLCs for this game as it's very bare bones without them. My recommendations are the 3 EX Personality packs, GP-01, GP-02 and GP-03, X1 and X1 Dark. Those are enough to keep you entertained for quite a some time.

Tip: make sure you don't make the mistake of enabling COM3D2.5 DLC as it will likely doubles the installed space as each DLCs are installed again for the 2.5 version of the game. You likely wouldn't want 2.5 anyway as a lot of 2.0 contents are incompatible with it.

DON'T BUY STEAM VERSION!!!

If you're about to buy COM3D2, don't do it on Steam!!!! Updates are way behind, R18 Patch does not work and I've tried every fix imaginable. I admit I goofed up but I learned my lesson and lost $200+ worth of DLCs!!!!!!!!!
