The game is fun and unique as hell for a typing game, but the co-op is basically dead on arrival.

I’ve got nearly 100 hours in this now, and a stupid amount of that time has been spent sitting in public lobbies waiting for literally anybody to join. Sometimes I’ll get lucky and one person shows up. Once I actually had two people join around the same time, which felt like finding a damn unicorn because the player count is usually microscopic.

That’s the biggest problem with this game. You CAN play solo, but it gets difficult fast even on Normal, and the whole game clearly benefits from having other players around. Yet finding those players is its own separate survival horror game.

The actual gameplay is creative, stressful in a good way, and genuinely makes typing feel like a combat mechanic instead of some boring typing tutor. You’re typing movement, attacks, item commands, healing, everything, while zombies are rushing you and punishing every typo.

I want to recommend it because there really is a good game here. But if you’re buying it mainly for public co-op, good luck. You may spend more time waiting for another human being than fighting zombies.

100% the best typing game i know of. Horde mode is addicting as ♥♥♥♥. Go learn how to touch type in coleman or something already
