Looks like my gut feel was right on this one. Great game but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cringe ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ admins / "Guides" maybe they called them in game? Can't recall exactly.

Could tell they were on power trips from week 1 and it really ruined the game for me back when I was playing, eventually gave up because Global chat had to bend to the opinion of whatever Reddit / Discord mod type "Guide" was online at the time.

They would weigh in on every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ question asked and just dictate how any conversation was going and what was allowed or not arbitrarily. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cringe losers who's only social impact comes from control

Even grindy would say this is grindy. Every skill needs heaps of gold, gifts to the NPC trainers to build reputation, and other sub skills (and subsequent reputation and gifts and gold) to level. To even wipe your ass in this game you'd need to level up toilet craft, THEN paper craft, THEN port o potty, maintenance THEN bowel endurance, while maxing out the NPC relationships by giving Todd the Turd Toucher prunes as gifts AND several hundred thousand gold. This game is the ultimate time sink. Combat is clunky and just feels plain awful. The "power" system can leave you helpless and an easy very kill quickly unless you purchase or grind the levels to craft consumables (Food, snacks, potions, instant snacks+) which is another grind heavy gold and time sink. The community is relatively helpful but rarely are any players not inside a dungeon or the casino. Major areas are complete ghost towns. The biggest sin, however of this game is the lack of two handed weapons. A fantasy staple completely absent. This game does not evoke everquest nostalgia. Looks elsewhere.

This game used to be good, but it seems one of the devs is massively power-tripping. Flipping the thumb down until Jackencola resigns.
