Although I am not a fan of the fact that this is a remaster, I am truly grateful that I am able to relive my childhood on my newer gen console & pc. The gameplay isn't too complicated for little me to understand, and me today can cheese the game with ease (stonetouch til you reach Calm Lands). I would say more, but I'm also not too used to making online reviews.

the game became blurry at the end

I am actively in a love/hate relationship with this game. I won't tell anyone to never consider buying this game, but if you have a short fuse that becomes significantly shorter with random game crashes, unviewable cutscenes (which make up at least 60% of the game), and recurring setbacks caused by the above issues I strongly suggest against getting the Steam version at least.

I've always wanted to play through all of final fantasy from beginning to end, and finally made it to one of the most beloved stories told in the franchise, yet find myself frustrated beyond belief with the janky release Square Enix thought was acceptable as a Steam port. Too many times already (I am only just past Djose Temple in the early game) have I had green screen issues with cutscense and game crashes that set me back 20-30 minutes worth of fighting tedious area enemies. I'm honestly torn between uninstalling and saving myself a lot more frustration or channeling my inner Dark Souls enthusiast to brute force through this suck fest to see how the story ends.

For the sake of any fans, I won't even start on Blitzball. I came here to beat big monsters with swords and sorcery, not play less than fun sports ball.
