So far so good, lots could have gone south, yet it stays simple, microtransactions are not too agressive and facultative, the devs are not in "media control" mode and receptive, the gameplay feel isn't impacted by being F2P, in fact quite the opposite, and instead allow for "paying to set your pace", which I recommend thinking over in this case, as it impact your sense of rewarding for each threshold SIGNIFICANTLY - Which mean you feel the difference in your choice, without impact in your actual potential. In fact, I'd say this is a most wonderful integration of the F2P microtransaction model for idle games, because it add personnalisation instead of gatekeeping you.

For as the game itself, it is decent, nice gritty UI and D&D feel to it, ambiance is there, things I'd want to change would be to have more music or a playlist (configureable), different UI colors/design, and more personnalization for characters appearance... which mean the core gameplay is nice, even though it is still lacking late game content, it has a very strong basic gameplay loop that can be added on and is built upon, and who doesn't stray you into hundreds of different micromanagements to "refresh gameplay". Simple to pick up, simple to enjoy, deeper mechanics when you want to actually want to tweak things to be more efficient.

The game has been in 1.0 for 8 months at the moment of this review, and I believe within a year or two, this game will hit the sweetspot where you can enjoy it for a decent while without any backthoughts. I definitely can and do recommend, chill experience guaranteed.

This game is not worth your time/power bill. I've bought the in-game packages, and still have had no progression at all for +200 hours. The most important crafting & progression material (Mysterious ash) is locked behind you being lucky, with a 0.00001% chance of dropping. The devs just updated the game, but neglected the players.

Stay away.

After you hit level 58 gear progression to difficulty seems borderline impossible. You need to do your 30 feather runs and your 15 dailys but that only equates to like 500ish exp a day (you need a couple million to level up) to unlock your 6th character slot.

Additionally. The progression from gear level 58 to 60 seems basically impossible. In a given day I probably can get 20-50 of the material needed but you need tons of mithril + weapon or armor crafting blueprints and in the mean time you basically are earning nothing while playing. Typically there feels like some progression even at an "End game" in an idle game but i feel like im leaving the game on for no reason and im not even at the end game.

The party system shows promise but except for the knight the other classes dont seem capable of doing most content. It almost feels as if the knight is the only class capable of progress while the other classes are intended to farm resources as they have faster clear speeds. But those resources are practically inconsequential.

Now. in all honesty the amount of time it takes to gather the necessary resources probably wouldn't be that bad except that even when filtering chests your bag fills up incredibly fast. But by filtering chests to only include rarer resources you actually limit what you are generating in a given timeframe as you could simply take the more common resources and craft them into rarer ones.

So basically no matter what you chose you are hurting yourself.

I do like the art and direction of the game but it def needs some more development particularly in the progression elements. (The Commander level system is cool but it doesn't exactly matter since your experience is largely tied to dailies its impossible for it to presently matter)
