I know about the zodiac spear already, will probably have a guide on what chests not to open. However, is there any other stuff like it I should be aware of before playing? Easily missable weapons or content like that, or stuff easy to screw up for yourself like the aformentioned spear....

it's much better to use emulators nowadays. It's not worth spending a penny on games that they take zero care in simply making the basics run on your PC. Trust me, messing around with emulators today is very easy; I'm even making a backup of terabytes of old game ROMs. I really prefer to buy original games, but I'm already fed up with them making these shoddy ports that are worse than basic emulation....

Im thinking about buying this game. Are there any mods which fix the performance? Google dont list specific ones and some people in the reviews are whining about the stability of the game. Thx for the help

I've been doing a 100% of this game that I come back to every so often. It was saved in the 002 save slot. I recently started a new game, and saved it to slot 199, specifically to avoid any chance of overwriting my nearly 100% file. Now, when I select "Load Game" from the menu, slot 001 remains, but both slot 002 and 199 have been replaced by the new game. My nearly 100% run with over 80 hours of gameplay is missing.
