I can see the potential but atm its not massively fun, maybe in a party its different but so far i did a single campaign solo and this is what i can see at 2 hrs of playtime.


Stealth
stealth currently is more of a suggestion than anything as there is zero benefit to playing stealthy, every single mission i played i just brute forced and went really without a hitch. EDIT: i entirely forgot, but your character literally screams the ENTIRE time, IM RELOADING!!!!! when its supposed to be stealth?

Gunplay
this is the one that really irks me, the gunplay just feels terrible, after every single bullet out of any pistol i cant do a followup shot since my character thinks im shooting a cannon, character will auto-lean around things it should really not be auto leaning on, guns in general feel really bad, coming back to the stealth aspect, suppressors can only be unlocked after a certain amount of kills per gun and it makes it so you basically have to go "loud" for the first hour until you can unlock pistols.

Equipment and grenades,
Again, most of the equipment is just pretty pointless when just running and blasting is a totally valid way of playing, using a breaching charge or lockpick is very useless since u can just kick a door down and kill whoever is on the other side, aggro be damned. Grenades feel pretty bad to use and i really didnt use them at all except when i got free ones.

Missions and layout
Most of the mission types are fine, although the hacking minigames are insanely easy and take zero effort, these need to be improved to actually be able to fail them. Layout for the various maps doesnt make a ton of sense, yes it will get better with time as you learn the maps but in general they just dont make much sense and i have to go basically across the map just to get on the other side of a wall.

Replayability
This is the one part that i cant tell where im at, once you finish a "campaign" you lose all progress in terms of money and anything in your inventory for purchased gear, you still keep all upgrades but all of it is just gone.
I understand its a rogue like (in the name lol) but it feels very arbitrary and like a kick in the balls, as if i want to play high level missions with good gear im forced to have to slog through very low tier boring missions with a pistol.


Look i get that as of now im just complaining, i totally see the vision for this game and in a year when it gets smoothed out it will be very good, but atm 17 (esp 20) dollars for a game i really dont want to play again, and that only took me about 2 hrs to finish one campaign is alot to ask. (will still try it in a party)
