I should mention right from the start that games shorter than two hours usually don’t satisfy me. This one is also short, but:

First of all, the story beautifully blends fragments of real-life experiences, giving you one of the most genuine portrayals of someone going through depression. We set out on a journey inside the mind of a person who “copies” emotions and puts on the “I’m fine” mask while at work, alone, or even out at the movies with friends. Depression is a condition that drains you both physically and mentally. Some people can show it, some can’t. Our main character, Moon, is incredibly gentle and kind—someone who always puts others before herself, constantly questions her own worth, and even struggles with basic things like eating due to appetite issues. I don’t want to spoil too much, but there are many points worth mentioning. Going from general to specific:

1. The illustrations are carefully crafted using a consistent color palette that is easy on the eyes, and the art style conveys everything in a simple yet expressive way. Kudos to the artist; I really loved it.

2. The music and ambiance are wonderful—they’re both soothing and immersive, helping you sink deeper into the world of the game.

3. The story isn’t told by a psychologist, but by someone who has truly lived these experiences, which gives the narrative a calm and authentic tone.

4. In both Japanese and English, the voice acting conveys the character’s emotional state effortlessly. This really impressed me, because you can clearly hear the exhaustion in the voice of someone dealing with depression.

5. As I played, I kept finding pieces of myself or thinking about people around me. Even those who seem happy may not actually be smiling on the inside—it raises real awareness.

6. The gameplay is reading-focused, but the small puzzles sprinkled throughout help break the flow and offer tiny moments of playful variety. The option to skip them is also a thoughtful touch.

7. The repeated emphasis on the word “understand,” and the game reminding us—even in the final moments—to support those struggling with depression, is a beautiful detail.

8. Some lines were incredibly powerful. I genuinely believe a few of them will stay with me for a long time.

Long story short, you should absolutely buy and play this game.

7. Oynanış zaten okuma odaklı ama minik puzzlelar koyarak da arada farklı farklı minik oyunlar oynamamızı sağlıyor. Atlama seçeneğinin de olması ayrıca incelikli olmuş.

8. Her defasında "anlamak" kelimesini kullanması ve oyunun sonunda bile depresyonla mücadele eden insanlara destek olmayı hatırlatması da ayrı bir incelik olmuş.

9. Bazı cümleler de keza çokca etkiliydi. Benim hayatımda da keza, yer edineceğini düşünüyorum.

Uzun lafın kısası, satın alıp oynamalısınız.

Being Spider-Man is exhausting—that’s all I can say. When I sat in front of the computer, it felt like I was the only one who could save the world. And I mean that in a good way. The story is great. If you’re familiar with the Spider-Man film series, you’ll know what I mean.

The mechanics are excellent.

The music is also outstanding.

However, sometimes fighting enemies didn’t feel enjoyable. On the other hand, I can’t deny that I did enjoy some of the battles.

A very disappointing game.

1. Slow Movement: You can't walk fast, which completely ruins the sense of progression. Since the exploration and atmosphere are already unsatisfying, you can't enjoy the experience. It feels more like a walking and talking simulator.

2. Lack of Clues: The mini-puzzles provide absolutely no helpful hints. On top of that, you're stuck with an injured companion who serves no purpose, which further kills your motivation. Also, it makes the game very boring.

3. Story: The game isn't engaging. I started with enthusiasm but could only endure 2.5 hours. It feels like the developers tried to make the game rich in content by cramming everything into it. If you're looking for something visually appealing, I wouldn't recommend this gray-and-white game. At some point, even the voice in your head starts to annoy you, but when it's gone, you find yourself wishing it were back instead of having this useless companion beside you.

4. Mechanics: The mechanics are utterly trash. I have no other words to describe them.

This game was clearly designed for a specific audience, and while it could be considered an early example of a "next-generation" game, its overly complex, tedious, and detached nature makes it a complete disappointment from my perspective.
