thats true but most importantly it avoids confusion. if it was just "noodles" then that would make you wonder... just what type of 'noodles' is it? fried noodles? cooked noodles? deep-fried noodles? raw noodles? are you gonna eat the raw noodles and then drink boiling water so they cook in your stomach? thats too scary, i cant allow a confusion like that to exist

saying fried noodles sounds way cooler then saying noodles, no?
