Absolutely Amazing Entry to the Infamous Armored Core Series.
Fast gameplay similar to Armored Core 4.
I cannot stress this next part enough. The Movement is Pristine! Super smooth, extremely responsive, and feels Crisp to play. You can see the lessons learned from previous Armored Core installments.
You can feel the slight Darksouls influence (I think it's just a From Soft thing at this point) and it lends to some extremely satisfying boss fights.
Speaking of bosses, there's a great variety of boss encounters forcing you to adapt and tinker with your AC and overcome each specific challenge. But there isn't just 1 way to solve each problem.

The Story this time around is friggen awesome! For how "little" is actially said, there's so much depth and meaning behind WHAT characters say and WHY they say it and WHO they say it to. With there being multiple endings theres a bunch of different dialogue and completely different/unique missions that give you so much more context for the events of the game overall.

Multiple instances of player choice effecting mission outcomes along with multiple endings (classic branching paths).

I'm currently on New Game++ and there's still a bunch of branching paths and alternative missions.

On the performance front, I haven't run into any frame drops, stutters or outright glitches yet.

If you're a fan of Mecha games or are fimiliar with the Armored Core franchise at all. Get this game.

::UPDATE as of 140hrs - The ONLY Glitch I've seen is when using the Pile Bunker Melee weapon, it sometimes doesn't trigger the particle effects/audio in certain situations.::
