For item(s) that fit within our standard return policy and were purchased between November 19 and December 5, we have extended our return policy until January 4.*
*Excludes bikes and final sale items.
Yes, as long as the order has not yet been shipped. (Please note, orders over $2000 will incur a 2.5% refund charge)
Items purchased at Steed Cycles in store or Online are subject to a 30 day return policy* (Bicycles 7 days)
We will only accept items that are returned in the original packaging, unused, unworn and in resalable condition, if the product has been used we will not accept the return. All returned products are subject to inspection. The return of the item will be subject to the cost of return shipping fee at the customers expense.
For a return you will need the original receipt or have a store account showing the original transaction, failing this we will only be able to offer you store credit or exchange.
Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days once the item has been received in-store.
Shipping for online order returns is the cost of the customer and not Steed Cycles unless the return is due to the fault of Steed Cycles.
Should you find the items you have ordered to be the wrong size or colour, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@steedcycles.com and we will look to exchange the product to the correct size or colour. Should your exchange be approved please mail the items back to at: 969 Marine Drive North Vancouver British Columbia CA V7P 1S4.
Steed Cycles offer free shipping on orders over $150. Please note, if a return brings the original invoice price below $150, a $15 surcharge will be applied against the total cost of the returned item.
Steed Cycles offer free shipping on select bikes. If a bike is returned that free shipping was included, the return will incur a fee of $200 or more based on location.Â
Special Order sales are final with no option to return. If the item you have ordered is incorrect we will charge a 20% restocking fee for cancelling the order [You will be refunded 80% of the value]
*All sale items are final, only regular priced items can be refunded. Body care items and food are strictly non-refundable, no exceptions.
Yes, we do! Currently, our online gift cards are separate from our gift cards in-store ie. if you purchase a gift card online this can be used on the website but not in store and vice versa. We are working to merge these into one, stay tuned!
Our inventory is live on our website, so if it says "Add to Cart," it means we have it in stock at our store.
If an item is marked as "Online Only," it is available to order from our supplier. These orders will ship out in 1-2 business days.
If an item is out of stock, we recommend hitting the "Notify Me When Available" button. This will allow us to contact you when we restock the item. You can also reach out directly to our customer service team, and they can help you order the item you are looking for.
Product Info
- Out of box are new items where the packaging is missing or damaged. The product is in new condition, covered under the standard product warranty, but it will not come with the original packaging.
- Take-Off items are new items that have been taken off of a new bike. These are in like-new condition, have the same warranty as a new product and will not come with the original packaging.Â
We're unable to ship Giant Bicycles, they are only available for in-store pickup when purchased on our website.Â
Payment
Yes, we are a Canadian company, based in North Vancouver, BC
Different items fall under different tax brackets across Canada. The province's applicable tax codes will be automatically decided based on your billing and shipping address and applied at the end of the checkout process. For international orders, no tax will be applied at checkout, the amount will be decided by the destination country’s customs and regulations and the cost will be covered by the receiver.
No, we do not offer price matching.
Shipping
Regarding the Canada Post Strike
The Canada Post strike has temporarily disrupted mail and parcel delivery across Canada. To ensure you still receive your order promptly, we are shipping through Canpar and FedEx. However, please note that increased volumes with these couriers may result in slightly longer delivery times.
Due to the Canada Post disruption, we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes or fly-in communities, and orders to these locations may need to be canceled. For remote areas, some deliveries may require pick-up from the nearest Purolator location. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your patience as we work to ensure your orders are delivered as smoothly as possible!
UPS and Purolator are experiencing extremely high volumes and have suspended pickups until current demand is met.
Once your order has been picked up by the courier you will automatically be sent your tracking number and your order status page will be updated.
Let us know if you need to change your address and we’ll do our best to accommodate this.
Shipping within Canada

Shipping to the United States
- $40 flat rate for parts and/or accessory orders*
*We only ship to the contiguous United States. Shipping restrictions or extra costs may apply to some products and destinations.
We aim to ship our online orders within 1 business day and we use Canada Post* expedited as our shipping method, we’ll send your tracking number automatically once shipped which will give you an ETA for arrival. For bike purchases we aim to get them ready ASAP for pickup, we’ll notify you once they are ready for collection and for bikes that can be shipped we aim for within 5 business days.
*At our discretion Courier Services may be used in lieu of Canada Post for oversize items.
Orders may ship from multiple locations, in these instances you will receive a tracking number for each package.
Warranty
Warranty for items will be covered by the manufacturer as per their terms and conditions.
