Character Art Director at Disney
1971 Datsun 240Z, based on a photo I took in Los Feliz 4 years ago.
I always wanted to do a gouache painting of it, but unfortunately, I haven’t seen this car around ever since. Until I spot it again somewhere in L.A, here’s a digital painting of this cool yellow machine.
I’ve just finished a painting of one of Walt Disney’s car, a Moon Roadster 1927, for a fundraiser gala at the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco on November 7th.
It is believed that Walt sold the car in 1928 for $475 to fund the Steamboat Willie soundtrack and payroll at the Hyperion Studio.

Incredible morning yesterday at @jaylenosgarage, thanks to @pagooch for making this happen. I tried to sketch as many cars as possible while walking around, but it is overwhelming. Cars and bikes everywhere surrounding by beautiful artwork. I captured what I could very quickly just to remember the beauty of the vehicles and added some color later on some. I wish I could have stayed all day to at least do few paintings of his cars, some are so unique and unbelievable. And it was also fantastic to meet Jay Leno in person and get some insights from the man himself about some of his cars. Just Amazing.

Today I had a great chat about classic cars, space toys and art with Justin, the owner of this beautiful 1958 Chevrolet Cameo,. According to Justin, this truck is very rare as only 1400 of them we’re built that year, and only 10% survived through the years, really a gorgeous design!
