Crochet WIP

This is a pattern from Daisy Farm Crafts - called Even Moss Berry Ridge Blanket.

I am using Red Heart Super Saver in the ombre Green Apple color.  I am on the 3rd skein  and I have 3 more skeins left - this pattern uses a lot of yarn but I love the textures.

Crocheted Hat

 I finished crocheting this winter hat.  The pattern is called Snowy Wheat and can be found here: https://brianakdesigns.com/snowy-puff-crochet-hat-pattern.

I made the small adult size with Lion Brand Basic Stitch anti-pilling yarn.  I used 110.5 grams - just over 1 skein.  The color is Beryl.

I may make another hat in the medium adult size.

Drum for Valentine Tiny Town

I am trying to do a drum finish for one of my Tiny Town stitches. I wasn't looking forward to really packing the drum with a lot of fiber fill - I don't always get the smooth results I would like to have. I also didn't want to put cardboard circles inside in case the drum ever needed to be washed. These are the early beginnings for my attempt at what I hope will work for me. I am using Warm and Natural quilt batting strips made into a spiral for the main portion of the drum. I have some discs cut from the same batting for the top and bottom. I am digging through my quilt fabric for an appropriate piece to finish the top and bottom of the drum. I have not figured out each step ahead of time so it will be interesting to see what does not work as I had planned while I move forward.

Patriotic Tiny Town Finish

I have finished the Patriotic Tiny Town so unless I purchase some more of these charts, I am caught up with the Tiny Towns that I have in my stash.

I am ready to crochet for a little while so there is plenty of time to decide if I "need" more Tiny Towns.

Patriotic Tiny Town WIP

I am almost 1/2 way across this Patriotic Tiny Town by Heart in Hand Needleart.  I am constantly thinking about making these Tiny Towns into a drum as I stitch them.

First XS Finish of 2024

I can't believe I had to make a new Album for 2024 Cross Stitch - I have obviously been busy crocheting this year.

I saw this finish on facebook and I had to have it.  I am not into Halloween but I do love hedgehogs and pumpkins.

Star Wars Finish

I finished the Star Wars afghan for a friend of my daughter who is having a boy this summer.  I missed the baby shower but I did manage to finish before the birth. 

I have not decided what to work on next - I am a little behind in some household chores so I should take care of that before I jump right in to the next project.
